More Than Beauty

As the founder, Rosanna Bermejo decides what technology the practice runs on, which research it follows and which treatments reach the menu. She holds a BA in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from McGill in Montreal, and spent years inside Fortune 500 companies before opening Med Aesthetics Miami in a small office at the University of Miami Hospital. It now runs as three centers, in Coral Gables, Aventura and Lauderdale-By-The-Sea, treating clients who come from across Florida and from other states.

She is also a nurse practitioner. She holds a Registered Nursing degree and a BSN, completed her Master of Science in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner in 2023, and carries separate licenses in skin care and in laser hair removal. She performs or directly supervises every facial Morpheus8 treatment. She sits on the board of the Florida Council of Electrolysis, and belongs to the Dermatology Nurses Association, the International Society of Plastic and Aesthetic Nurses, and the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery.

Dr. Alejandro Espaillat is a Florida-licensed eye physician and surgeon who trained at Harvard and at Brown. He holds Diplomate status in Aesthetic Medicine and is board certified by the American Academy of Aesthetic Medicine and by the American Board of Laser Surgery.

He has performed thousands of ophthalmic and aesthetic procedures, among them neurotoxin injections, fillers, advanced chemical peels and stem cell injections. His memberships run across both fields: the American Academy of Aesthetic Medicine, the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery, the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery, the American Academy of Ophthalmology, and the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery.
